NBA Premium Play 03/06: Milwaukee Bucks @ Los Angeles Clippers

NBA - 725 Milwaukee Bucks @ 726 Los Angeles Clippers

Projected Line: 207 points

Milwaukee showed some great offensive dynamic on the backcourt. It was the second game in a row where Brandon Jennings had a great assists number, while Monta Ellis has improved his shot location selection and he is now attacking the rim more: 9-10 FG at the rim! If we add J.J. Redick shooting 7-14 FG, the Bucks were excellent with 29 assists and 10-24 3pts! While the Jazz's starters were on the court, Milwaukee did whatever they wanted on offense, as Randy Foye simply couldn't defend Monta Ellis. To make things worse for Utah, their starting backcourt was simply horrible! Earl Watson, Randy Foye and Marvin Williams combined to score zero points on 0-15 FG! Utah stayed in the game due to a huge rebounding edge by grabbing almost 60% of the rebounds. Ersan Ilyasova was completely dominated in both ends of the floor, as not only he shot 3-13 FG, as he was crushed on defense by Utah's frontcourt. Both Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter played well and Utah's main problem was simply their 21 turnovers committed!

The Bucks are showing good dynamic on offense and they are averaging 27.6 assists per game. Their backcourt has excellent balance with fast break points and good 3pts shooting, while Ersan Ilyasova is coming from a bad game, but he has been playing well lately. On tonight's game, Milwaukee should have some backcourt edge over the Clippers. Brandon Jennings will have a tough matchup against Chris Paul, but Jennings is currently showing a good passing mindset, while Chauncey Billups and Jamal Crawford won't have conditions to stop Monta Ellis and I don't see Coach Del Negro inserting Chris Paul and Eric Bledsoe tonight at the same time.

The Clippers are coming from a home loss against Oklahoma City last Sunday, so they will be on bounce back mode. The LA team will have a big offensive rebounding edge and down low today against Milwaukee. The Bucks got crushed by Utah's frontcourt and this has been their recent trend lately. Of course Larry Sanders will defend DeAndre Jordan well, but Blake Griffin will crush Ersan Ilyasova, just like Paul Millsap did to the Turkish player. Milwaukee has been playing at a frenetic pace with a 95.80 average over their last five games, so the Clippers with their depth and athleticism won't have problems in taking advantage of tonight's fast pace to crush the Bucks's defense today. I expect a very high scoring game tonight, so I'll be taking the Over in here.
