NBA Premium Play 03/13: Minnesota Timberwolves @ Indiana Pacers

NBA - 605 Minnesota Timberwolves @ 606 Indiana Pacers

Projected Line: Indiana by 18 points

There isn't much to say about Minnesota's win against San Antonio last night, as the Spurs had a complete no-show, as not only they rested their key players, as their offense was a complete mess with 17 turnovers and 12-26 FG at the rim plus 9-29 3pts! Minnesota showed that they are a lowly team that can be competitive, when they get a rare good outside shooting game with 12-27 FG from 16-23 feet and 12-20 3pts! Today, the Wolves are playing in Indiana, on their fourth game in five days against a rested Pacers team that had 2 days off, after losing against the Heat last Sunday.

I believe Minnesota's offense will have loads of problems tonight, as I don't believe that they will repeat the same great outside shooting numbers from yesterday, as they are by far the worst outside shooting team in the league. The only thing favoring the Wolves's offense tonight are their high volume on pick and rolls (almost 20% on their last 5 games) and this is the only area of Indiana's defense, where they aren't very good by being #17 in the league on pick and roll ball handler defense with 0.79 PPP allowed.

Indiana's offense will have a clear edge on the frontcourt, as Minnesota's post up defense isn't good (#19 in the league). The Pacers have been struggling with turnovers lately (16.8 TO/game since the All Star break), but on this bounce back spot I expect them to be more careful in taking care of the ball, while even though the Wolves are generally a good team in pressuring the ball handler, I expect them to be a bit less efficient than usual due to their spot tonight. I expect an easy win for Indiana in here and so, I'll be taking them tonight.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 606 Indiana Pacers (-15) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
