We have two teams in here that really like to play at a very fast pace. Denver as the better team and with bigger depth will simply try to outscore the Kings and I heavily double about defensive effort for tonight, especially on a back to back spot. Sacramento's defense has been poor this season especially at the rim with 74% FG allowed and #27 in the league on transition defense, so the Nuggets will definitely score some points tonight, as they have scored 122 and 121 points on the first two games between these two teams this season.
The main difference in here will really be Sacramento's offense. They struggled on their first two games against Denver this season with just 97 and 93 points scored, but they have been showing some excellent offensive dynamic lately. The Kings have been the mini-Nuggets lately with 21.7 fast break points per game over their last 10 games! But the main difference on this contest will be on the perimeter shooting. Denver's perimeter shooting isn't impressive at all (#24 in the league with 34% 3pts), while Sacramento has been amazing with 43.4% 3pts over their last 10 games! #1 on the league during this span! The Nuggets's perimeter defense is quite poor and they are the worst team in the league on spot up defense with 1.07 PPP! With Sacramento having a huge edge on spot ups and having a better spot than the Nuggets tonight, I expect Sacramento to be very competitive today and so, I'll be taking them in here.
