NBA Free Premium Play 03/11: Brooklyn Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers

Brooklyn  at Philadelphia
NBA - 501 Brooklyn Nets @ 502 Philadelphia 76ers

Projected Line: 188 points

I thought Philadelphia will show some pride yesterday at Orlando, after getting humiliated at home against the Magic a couple of weeks ago, and even though their effort was better, Philadelphia showed once again no major defensive effort. Their interior defense has been a problem all season long and last night that wasn't an exception with Nikola Vucevic shooting 7-13 FG and having 17 rebounds and even Tobias Harris with little experience at the PF position shot 7-16 FG! Philadelphia's inability in defending 1*1 on the down low is turning them into a poor perimeter defense as well. Jrue Holiday is banged up and he isn't concern in defending anymore, the same happening with the whole Sixers's backcourt. Orlando with Jameer Nelson and Arron Afflalo did whatever they wanted to do yesterday by shooting a combined of 16-31 FG and 14 assists!

These are bad news for Philadelphia, as the Nets have been red hot from the perimeter lately with 40.3% 3pts on their last 10 games! Deron Williams is playing well and he will catch Jrue Holiday at the right time to torch him. With Brook Lopez dominating at the paint against the Sixers's poor interior defense, Philadelphia will have no other option than double teaming Lopez and with that, we will have plenty of space for the Nets's shooters on the outside. However, Philadelphia should be also able to have a nice offensive game tonight for their standards. Thaddeus Young is being Philadelphia's best player and he has been really amazing as of late. His speed is great and he will easily outplay one of the slowest frontcourt units in the league. Brooklyn's lack of speed is also visible on the backcourt and so, Philadelphia should be able to score some points using the speed of both Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner.

We have in here a questionable Sixers's defense against Brooklyn, who is now living a good moments, but whose lack of speed on the defensive is going to be exposed by Philadelphia's undersized team. Therefore, I expect a relatively high scoring game tonight and so, I'll be taking the Over in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 501/502 Over 184 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
