NBA - 701 Orlando Magic @ 702 Philadelphia 76ers
Projected Line: 187 points
Orlando is going to be super shorthanded for tonight, as they will be missing J.J. Redick, DeQuan Jones, Jameer Nelson, Arron Afflalo, Moe Harkless, Glen Davis and Al Harrington for tonight. This basically means that four of their mostly used starting lineup (Davis, Afflalo, Harkless and Nelson) plus their 6th man J.J. Redick won't be playing tonight. Hedo Turkuglu has returned but he has shot a combined of 4-18 FG since his comeback from injury. The Magic's starting lineup will only have Vucevic with some offensive skill, but at least E'Twaun Moore is replacing Jameer Nelson today and he is a much better defender than Nelson, so Orlando should be able to limit Jrue Holiday today.
The Magic are coming from playing a game at Milwaukee, where they scored 98 points, but they weren't effective on offense with an offensive rating of just 101.4! The only reason why they scored so many points was due to the fact that they were involved in a super fast pace (96.7), just like most games involving the Bucks are nowadays. Now against Philadelphia, things will be different as the Sixers prefer playing at a half court style and they know they will have an edge in organizing their offense tonight against the shorthanded Magic, so they won't be pushing up the pace. On a slow paced game, Orlando is currently lacking the offensive skills to generate points, while Philadelphia as a jump shooting team may come too confident for this game and miss easy shots as well. Therefore, I expect a low scoring game in here and so, I'll be taking the Under.
