NBA Premium Play 02/04: Chicago Bulls @ Indiana Pacers

NBA - 735 Chicago Bulls @ 736 Indiana Pacers

Projected Line: Indiana by 9 points

This isn't a "fair" game for Chicago, who should be resting right now. If this wasn't for this make up game and Chicago would only play next Thursday at Denver, but they will now play their 7th game in 11 days. They are shorthanded right now and coach Thibodeau doesn't rotate their lineup, so the Bulls are completely exhausted right now. They had a blowout win at Atlanta, but still their coach didn't use Nazr Mohammed or Daequan Cook, so Taj Gibson played 45 minutes, Luol Deng 46 minutes, Jimmy Butler 46 minutes and Nate Robinson 41 minutes. I took Atlanta -6,5 thinking that they would show some intensity, but that didn't happen, with the Bulls grabbing 55% of the rebounds for an easy win.

If we talk about intensity, few teams play as intense as Chicago, but Indiana is surely one of them, so I don't see how Chicago will outwork Indiana in the same way that they did against Atlanta. The Pacers are currently fighting for the Central Division and not only they are healthy, as they are also playing their best basketball of the season, mostly thanks to their improved offense, that is coming from four games in a row with offensive ratings above 110: 120.72, 111.36, 110.67 and 118.64! With Indiana showing a good outside shooting, combined with their defense and rebounding, they would always be a tough matchup for Chicago, let alone when the Bulls are currently shorthanded. Therefore, I'll be taking Indiana tonight for an easy win for them.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 736 Indiana Pacers (-5,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
