NBA Free Premium Play 02/02: Chicago Bulls @ Atlanta Hawks

Chicago  at Atlanta
NBA - 501 Chicago Bulls @ 502 Atlanta Hawks

Projected Line: Atlanta by 12 points

Chicago is coming from a close loss at Brooklyn last night. The Bulls used a small lineup, so Brook Lopez pounded them on the down low, the Nets outrebounded them and also outscored them 56-44 in the paint. Chicago had a good effort, but they were so shorthanded that they ran out of gas. Taj Gibson played the whole game and Luol Deng only rested for four seconds. Chicago only used eight players, even though they had some other players available, in a clear proof that coach Thibodeau doesn't trust in a part of his roster even when his team is super shorthanded. Taj Gibson, Luol Deng, Jimmy Butler and Nate Robinson played more than 40 minutes last night!

Brooklyn grabbed 55.22% of the rebounds last night, in a clear sign of how undersized the Bulls were last night. They will now play at Atlanta tonight and with Nate Robinson tired, Atlanta will have a massive edge with Jeff Teague at the PG position. The Hawks will set a fast pace tonight and they will try to run with the Bulls today. Without Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah, Chicago's frontcourt won't be able to stop Al Horford and Josh Smith. Atlanta has generally a problem of overlooking their opponents, but they need to remember how they lost 58-97 at Chicago!

Atlanta hasn't played since last Wednesday, where they had a close win over the Raptors. Al Horford, Josh Smith and Kyle Korver are in good form right now and so, I expect the Hawks to have a very easy win today over a tired and shorthanded Bulls. I'm taking Atlanta in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 502 Atlanta Hawks (-6,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
