Sacramento is 2-0 on their last two home games and they have been playing with a very fluid offense. Their 3-guard lineup is working for them, who can now move the ball much better and it's no surprise that even though they have a season average of just 1.33 A/TO rate, since the All Star break, they are averaging 1.90 A/TO rate and 1.86 in their last 10 games! The Kings have also shot at least 50 percent in back-to-back games! They are being aggressive on the offense by scoring a lot of fast break points and points in the paint. Cousins returned against Dallas but still had little energy. But after suffering food poisoning earlier this week, the Kings big man managed to finish with a solid line :15 points, five assists, three steals and two blocks.
For today, Cousins will have a clear offensive edge over Atlanta's frontcourt and the speed of the Kings' guards will be a problem for Atlanta. On the other side, the Hawks are coming from back to back losses in close losses at Miami and at Detroit. In their last game against the Pistons, their defense was terrible as even though Detroit scored just 86 points, they shot 55.9% FG and they only allowed 86 points due to a slow pace of 81.74! Atlanta is now healthy and they will have some edges on offense for tonight, as with the Kings 3-guards lineup, this means that Joe Johnson will have a tremendous edge against any Kings player tonight. Besides that, Josh Smith is just too good and too fast for Greene to defend him. I expect the Hawks to be very aggressive on a bounce back spot, while Sacramento will continue to produce some good offense, as they are now in their best moment of the season. Therefore, I came up with a totals projection of 200 points for this contest, high enough for me to take the Over in here in a Double Dime Play!
