Memphis is one of the teams who will create a lot of problems to Boston, just for the fact that they are a physical team, while Boston has been showing that they are struggling against this kind of teams this season, as they can't keep the same rhythm for 48 minutes. We all know that the Grizzlies defense is super aggressive and they look to create turnovers and Boston hasn't been a good ball handling team, as even with Rondo back against the Knicks, the Celtics still committed 20 turnovers, with Rondo having 5 turnovers on his own! Memphis will also have an edge with Gasol against every frontcourt player of the Celtics and this will make them dominate the glass today, as Boston have been having a lot of rebounding problems lately and already last week, Andy Varejao completely dominated them in back to back games with 8-12 FG 18pts 9reb and 10-17 FG 20pts 20reb!

Besides that, Tony Allen is an amazing form in both ends of the floor and he will be a tough matchup for Ray Allen today. In fact, the whole matchup promises to be tough for the Celtics offense. Memphis had a losing streak, but they gained their confidence back with two wins against Memphis and Atlanta. They are coming from a tough game at Oklahoma City, where the game was tired at 94-94 down the stretch. Their 2-5 record on their last 7 games doesn't tell the whole story, as they have been continuously playing against top teams and yet they have been competitive in most games. The spot may not be great for the Grizzlies due to the fact it's an early road game, but with such a favorable matchup, I expect this game to be tight and therefore, I see value on the underdog. I'm taking Memphis today.
