NBA Free Premium Play 03/07: Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers

Boston  at Philadelphia

NBA - 601 Boston Celtics @ 602 Philadelphia 76ers

Projected line: 173

Boston is coming from another overtime win, this time against Houston. On this game, it was clear once again how Boston isn't capable of having continuity on their game, as the Celtics couldn't even play a strong 24 minutes of basketball without having a letdown meanwhile. Even against a subpar rebounding team, Boston was completely squashed in the boards, with Houston having a 14-4 edge on offensive rebounds and 29.2% vs 8.5% on offensive rebound rates. Boston's defense was good as usual, especially near the rim as Houston shot 13-23 FG at the rim and 1-8 FG from 3-9 feet. Offensively, Boston continued with a fluid ball movement with 26 assists and 14 turnovers, their problem was that they didn't have a good volume and FG% near the basket. They were basically a jump shooting team with 10-27 FG from 16-23 feet and 4-14 3pts. The Celtics also shot 0-8 FG on ISO plays and they will be on a very tough spot for tonight, as Pierce played 41 and 46 minutes in their last 2 games, Rondo 45 and 48 minutes, Ray 41 and 45 minutes, Garnett 37 and 41 minutes, while Bass played 34 and 30 minutes. On back to back games this season, Boston is averaging a pace of 86.7, offensive rates of 100.5 and defensive rates of 94.2!

On the other hand, the Sixers while facing teams in the same spot that Boston is today are averaging a pace of 88.0, offensive rates of 105.4 and defensive rates of 92.2! Boston's offense is very likely to heavily struggle today, as they are a terrible offensive rebound team, while the Sixers don't commit turnovers, so Boston won't have a lot of transition chances. The Celtics two key players, Rondo and Pierce, will be well defended by Iguodala and Holiday. However, Philadelphia is 2-8 on their last 10 games and they continue to have little interior game, while their outside game is also struggling. They are clearly struggling offensively and as we are talking about two teams on the top 3 in the league in terms of defending spot up plays, I don't expect any of these two teams to have a decent offensive game today. Therefore, I came up with a totals projection of just 173 points, low enough for me to take the under in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 601/602 Under 176,5 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
