San Antonio is a well organized team, but with Becky Hammon and Sophia Young out for the season, they simply lack talent to be competitive. Their problems are mostly on the frontcourt and this will be a huge problem against Tulsa, who is now red hot since they started being able to feed their post players down low. The Shock crushed Los Angeles on the down low with 50 points in the paint, with Liz Cambage having 9-11 FG, 10-11 FT and 28 points and Glory Johnson 7-14 FG and 17 points! Tulsa is also crushing the offensive glass and getting a lot of free throws as well. Their only issue has been the turnovers, but they are also improving on this area since their hyped rookie Skylar Diggins got benched for their other rookie PG Angel Goodrich!

San Antonio's lack of size is a big problem for them and of course, the Shock will have a mega edge against them down low. The Silver Stars are the third worst paint defense in the league with 36.8 ppg allowed and they are also the worst defensive rebounding team in the league. The only edge that San Antonio will have today will be in forcing turnovers, where they are #5 in the league with 17.0% opp TO, but they have been struggling a little on this area lately by averaging just 13.4% on their last six games! Therefore, I believe Tulsa's offense will have a good performance today. On the other side, San Antonio's offense continues to struggle by averaging an offensive rating of 87.7 on their last five games! The Silver Stars will have some edge on their perimeter shooting, as the Shock have the third worst 3pts defense of the league by allowing 33.3% 3pts, but that won't be enough for San Antonio to compensate the massive edge that the Shock will have down low. Therefore, I'll be taking Tulsa in here in a Double Dime Play!

We can expect a fast paced game between these two teams, but they both play undersized featuring some small ball lineups. Connecticut has been struggling a lot on offense due to the injuries of their guards. Tina Charles keeps dominating, but without a consistent outside shooting, the Sun can't produce offense. But for today's game, not only Tina Charles will completely dominate San Antonio's undersized frontcourt, as Kara Lawson returned on the team's last game against Chicago and she's the team's best SG. The Sun's offense is much more efficient at home and today against the #3 worst defensive team in the league, I expect Connecticut to have a nice offensive game. On the other side, Connecticut's defense struggled a lot on their last two games on 3pts defense with 10-23 (43%) 3pts and San Antonio is one of the most unselfish teams in the league. We have in here a 154 points line, when my projected line is 159 points, so I see good value in here to take the Over.

WNBA Premium Play 06/12: Washington Mystics @ San Antonio Silver Stars

WNBA - 603 Washington Mystics @ 604 San Antonio Silver Stars

Washington is a poor matchup for San Antonio due to their size edge down low. They have Monique Currie, Crystal Longhorne and Michelle Snow in the frontcourt and therefore the Mystics will have a clear edge down low against the Silver Stars, who use a 3-guards lineup. This is why San Antonio is dead last in the league in points in the paint allowed per game with 39.7 ppg, having allowed 44.6 points in the paint per game on their last seven contests! The Silver Stats are coming from a nice win at Phoenix, but they were lucky that Brittney Griner didn't play due to injury, so Phoenix didn't have anybody available to pound the Silver Stars in the paint in that game. 

The Mystics with their new coach are improving fast and despite they lost their last three games against Phoenix, Atlanta and Chicago, they were competitive in all these games where they faced very tough opposition. They know how to feed the ball to their big players and so, they averaged 34.7 points in the paint per game on their last six contests, while they had just average 26.9 ppg in the paint on their first seven games of the season. 

San Antonio is a jump shooting team by being #4 in the league in 3pts attempts, but they are just #9 in efficiency with 32.3% 3pts. Washington's perimeter defense has been amazing as of late by allowing just 20-72 (27.7%) 3pts on their last three games, so I expect them to shut down the Silver Stars' offense tonight. I believe the Mystics will do a nice defensive job tonight, while pounding the undersized Silver Stars down low in here, so I'll be taking Washington tonight.

WNBA Premium Play 06/15: San Antonio Silver Stars @ Los Angeles Sparks

WNBA - 651 San Antonio Silver Stars @ 652 Los Angeles Sparks

Los Angeles is currently playing without two banged up guards, who are questionable for tonight: Alana Beard and Lindsey Harding. This is a back to back game for them tonight, as they faced Phoenix last night, on a super paced game! The Sparks have a lot of talent, but no offensive flow, with 26, 18, 15 and 11 assists on their last four games! They are very inconsistent and even though they had a huge game against Seattle, where they scored 102 points, their last three games were very poor offensively for them. LA is good in scoring on transition, but the Silver Stars don't commit a lot of turnovers and they have a good ball movement, so they won't give a lot of transition chances to the Sparks.

San Antonio has some issues with rebounding due to being undersized, but they are being severely underrated in here. They defeated the Sparks, they defeated Chicago and then, on a revenge game for the Sky, they lost at Chicago by just 70-72! Finally, on their last game at Minnesota, their third game in five days, they were competitive until they had fresh legs, with 35-36 at halftime. I believe the Silver Stars have enough talent to keep this game close tonight, especially with the Sparks having two banged up guards and being on a back to back spot. Therefore, I'll be taking San Antonio in here.
