The first game of this series was by FAR the fastest paced game of all the 8 games of this weekend and this is a trend that I think will carry on… the game eventually ended w/ 214 points which is a bit absurd, because both teams shot < 45% from the field but again, the game was really FAST!

For tonight’s contest I think that there is plenty of room for both teams to improve their offensive efficiency while we should watch a similar “fun” fast paced affair.

Blake Griffin played only 19 minutes due to foul trouble… In those 19 minutes, the Clippers crushed the Warriors on the offensive end! LAC doesn’t have the proper depth on the frontcourt and obviously, Griffin’s being on the bench was a huge negative factor primarily for LAC’s offense! With him playing extended time, I expect him to score +25 points while I don’t think that CP3 will commit 6 TO’s once again! Also, Jamal Crawford & Darren Collinson combined to shot 4-20 FG!

On the other end, GSW’s game plan was terrific especially on the offensive end. LAC’s defensive strategy to double Curry and/or Thompson on the perimeter was torched apart b/c GSW w/ some sharp passing found the “open man” near the basket. This is way GSW’s big men finished the game all w/ good offensive numbers. I don’t know if LAC’s will repeat the same strategy for tonight… if they decided to change a bit, then we can expect Curry & Thompson to have better offensive numbers vs. G1 (13-36 FG!).

Despite the high scoring outcome in the first H2H, we are yet to see these two teams being really efficient on the offensive end and so, we have the proper edge to make a Top Play w/ the Over in here!
