NBA - 503 Miami Heat @ 504 Boston Celtics
Projected line: Miami by 7 points
Boston is 6-1 on their last 7 games, but the truth is that they had an easy schedule by playing against lowly teams or against good teams on good spots for them. The Celtics have been playing with Bass and Garnett in the frontcourt and even though they have been playing well offensively, the truth is that Boston continues to get crushed on the rebounds with them playing major minutes in every single game. Boston also continues to struggle terribly in defending transition plays and their bench clearly lacks quality solutions right now.
This matchup is clearly favorable to Miami, who will have a tremendous edge in terms of transitions, as note that in their last game in Toronto they shoot 10-10 FG in transition plays. The Heat had a terrible statement against Oklahoma City on national TV last Sunday and this is an excellent opportunity to show that they are indeed the best team in the league right now.
In the Celtics side, Ray Allen won't play today and Bradley will have to play major minutes. Even though he is a great defensive player, the truth is that he won't make Wade tired as he is poor offensive player, unlike Allen who would give a lot of trouble to Wade with all his screens. I believe Miami is by far the better team on this contest and on national TV, they will want to make sure that they leave a big statement on this game. Therefore, I'll take the Heat in here.
Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 503 Miami Heat (-4) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
