NBA - 701 Orlando Magic @ 702 Washington Wizards Projected line: 200 points Washington is coming from a blowout road win over the hapless Bobcats. Offensively, Washington had good ball movement, they took advantage of their good transition plays to score 26 fast break points, with 8-11 FG in transitions. They had a good inside out game as well, their players attacked well the rim with 6-12 FG on cuts, while their outside shooting also worked well with both Mason and C. Martin! They rotated their players well due to the blowout and in fact, two bench players were the two players who played more minutes yesterday: Singleton with 38 minutes and Martin with 30 minutes. Some players are on a 10-day contract and they are playing really hard right now. On the other hand, Orlando is also coming from a blowout win over Detroit, where they showed some excellent offense against the poor play of the Pistons. The Magic's outside shooting was absurd with 15-28 3pts, but at the same time, 13 of those 3pts shots made came from assists, so there was an excellent ball movement. Orlando also used good inside play, in a good offensive mix. Their small lineup also worked well with 8-13 FG in transitions! They didn't need to do a lot defensively, as Detroit's backcourt struggled heavily, which was weird considering the bad perimeter defense of the Magic. In today's matchup, Wall has the quickness to give both Nelson and Duhon a lot of trouble. Wall has averaged just 16.3 points per game against the Magic this season, but scored 33 points in the last meeting! I also remember that without Howard, Orlando has no shot blocker and so, Washington's cuts will be more effective in this contest. With both Nene and Booker out, Washington's interior defense is horrible and they have allowed 70% FG at the rim in their last 10 games and 72% FG in their last 5 contests! I expect both teams to have the clear upperhand over the opponent's defense and so, I'll be taking the Over in here. Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 701/702 Over 195 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
