NBA Premium Play 03/31: Atlanta Hawks @ Philadelphia 76ers

NBA - 805 Atlanta Hawks @ 806 Philadelphia 76ers

Projected line: 173 points | Philadelphia by 10 points

The Sixers were coming from a terrible game in Washington, in which the Wizards had a huge effort, as I expected. Their defense allowed them to make the Sixers just a mere jump shooting team, while Washington smashed them in the boards with a 30-20 edge in offensive rebounds. Offensively, Washington shot 48% mainly due to their aggressive play and by taking advantage of Philadelphia's weakest link on the defense: the interior. Washington shot 18-25 FG at the rim with 5-7 FG on offensive rebound plays, 6-9 FG on cuts and even 7-16 FG on post up plays! Washington had a revenge mindset and Philadelphia folded. The only good news for the Sixers is that Iggy with 33 minutes was the most used player of the team.

On the other hand, Atlanta is coming from a nice home win against the Knicks. Both teams had a low number of assists, as Atlanta dished 18, while the Knicks dished just 13 assists, which reveals a not-so-good ball movement, with a lot of ISO ball with the Knicks shooting 9-25 FG and the Hawks 7-18 FG on this kind of play. Atlanta had monster games from Josh and JJ helping them. Josh decided to attack the rim with 7-10 FG to compensate his 0-5 on 3pts, while Johnson was very good with tough shots, as he shot 5-7 FG from 16-23 feet. Atlanta used the transition plays to pound the Knicks with 7-9 FG as well. The game had a lot of FT's, which means a lot of physical play from both teams. The fact that both Josh and JJ had big games yesterday makes me believe that they will struggle today, which will result on a huge problem for Atlanta, as the team depends on them, especially on a bad spot, as they will play a 4th game in 5 days, with this being a back to back game as well.

Philadelphia is just on a mere back to back spot and when they face teams on bad spots (4in5-b2b or 3in4-b2b), they average a defensive rate of 96.3! Besides that, they will make the Hawks struggle offensively tonight, with Iggy defending JJ, Holiday on Teague and Brand/Young on Josh! Therefore, I expect a clear bounce back from the Sixers today, while shutting down the Hawks offense. So, I'll take both the Sixers and the Under in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 805/806 Under 177,5 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 806 Philadelphia 76ers (-6,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
