Costa Rica defeated Uruguay in the first game 3-1… despite scoring three goals, they didn’t look particularly sharp on attack. Instead, they were dangerous via set pieces and created some chances in transition by Campbell. They were committed to defense w/ a defensive line of 5 players and I don’t think that this mindset will change at all against Italy today.

Italy will face a packed defense and they could have some problems to create chances because their wing-back players aren’t offensive minded and so, there isn’t much width w/ this Italy team. As usual, Italy will control the pace of the game w/ short passes (they were excellent vs. England in this area w/ 93% pass completion rate and once they score one goal, they will freeze out the game. We should be dealing w/ a 2.25-goals line in here and therefore, I'm taking the Under as my Single Dime Play!
