| Toronto at Indiana |
| NBA - 501 Toronto Raptors @ 502 Indiana Pacers Projected line: 184 Unlike some other lowly teams, Toronto fought last night on the road against Oklahoma City, but with Bargnani out, their offense had no weapons against a fired up Oklahoma City team. With no inside presence whatsoever, Toronto simply couldn't score near the basket with 9-25 FG at the rim! Due to the absence of a big men with offensive skills, Toronto didn't almost use P&R plays, with just 12 plays for just 3-8 FG. There was a lot of pressure on DeRozan and he obviously struggled with just 6-22 FG. For today, Bargnani will be out for today but even with this game being a back to back game for them, Toronto won't stop fighting. Their problem will be their lack of offensive skills. Note that Toronto is 7-4 ATS on back to back games where they are road dogs and 7-3-1 Under on this very same spot, a sign that they fight very well even on tough spots. Still, I expect the Raptors to heavily struggle offensively against a fired up Indiana team. Toronto is shooting less than 60% FG at the rim in their last 10 games and the Pacers have a good interior defense. Also considering the big minutes that Calderon and DeRozan played yesterday, I don't believe they will have legs to have a super game today. On the other side, Indiana is coming from a bad game against Boston where they also had no legs and their offense was easily stopped. Like I had said previously to that game, Indiana was having a kind of offense that wouldn't have success in the future, with some poor ball movement and Toronto without Bargnani has conditions to have a good defensive game in here, as they are good at defending at the rim, as the Thunder went just 12-26 FG at the rim against them yesterday. I see some edge in Indiana's offense is terms of free throws, as Toronto allows too many FT opportunities to their opponents, but besides that I believe the Raptors will have a decent defensive game today. Also note that Toronto has been playing at an extremely slow pace, something similar with what has been happening with Indiana as well. This will be the third game of this series and the first two games were low scoring affairs, with Indiana struggling to score on the inside as expected, with 9-19 FG and 11-21 FG at the rim. I expect something similar to happen today and therefore, I'll be taking the Under in here. Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 501/502 Under 188 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker |
