We cashed yesterday w/ Over TOR/PHX pretty easily as the matchup between the Raptors and the Suns favored a high scoring affair.

PHX was super aggressive w/ 38 FT’s but I really didn’t like the fact that they have committed 21 TO’s! Note that they have committed 17 vs. PHX, so this is a bad trend for them. This can be problematic today vs. BKN ultra aggressive defense on the backcourt! The Nets like the Suns, play some small ball lineups and lately, they creating tremendous problems to opp. Ball handlers – something that will cause some problems to Bledsoe & Dragic.

The Raptors frontcourt crushed PHX’s undersized frontcourt w/ some ease. The good news is that BKN don’t have such “power” on the frontcourt and so, the Suns have a better spot to perform well on the defensive end!

Finally, the Nets play @slow pace and they will try to slow down the tempo of the game in order to prevent PHX’s dangerous transition game. My fair line for this contest is 202 points and so, we have some nice edge /w Under in here.

OKC perimeter defense has been atrocious since the All Star Break and obviously, the Mavericks torched them w/ 13-24 3pts and some great plays via PNR’s. Westbrook didn’t play last night…he will be “rested” for tonight and he’s a tough matchup for CHI’s lack of speed on the backcourt.

I’m taking the Thunder tonight because the Bulls don’t have a good perimeter offense, they actually don’t attempt many three pointers and so, OKC’s defense will be more focused in stop CHI’s frontcourt – something that they won’t struggle IMO and so, I expect them to bounce back tonight!

NBA - 513 Los Angeles Clippers @ 514 Denver Nuggets

This is really a tough spot for the Clippers...

Reddick, Crawford and Collison are all OUT for tonight and the lack of the depth will be truly important in @b2b spot and especially against a Nuggets’ team that is playing great w/ their second unit.

DEN defeated the Heat and then they were able to be competitive @ATL even though Ty Lawson struggled to shoot the ball – he had an incredible 0-12 FG! 0-12! Still, the Nuggets were competitive because their bench is playing and with some good confidence.

This 5-pts spread line is just inflated IMO while I expect the Nuggets to be competitive and I won’t be surprised if they beat the Clippers in here.

NBA - 503 Atlanta Hawks @ 504 Charlotte Bobcats

There is no question that the Bobcats are playing really well as of late! I had them yesterday @MIL and despite the game was basically a close battle, the Bobcats were super clutch down the stretch. However, for this contest, I don’t like at all of their spot and more importantly, the Hawks are a tough matchup for the Bobcats.

ATL has won their L3 games and so, they are feeling more confident right now. They still have some problems vs. DEN because the Nuggets’ speed on the frontcourt caused some problems and we cashed our play w/ DEN. I understand that Al Jefferson will have a tremendous edge down low vs. ATL frontcourt, but on the other end, the Hawks versatile frontline unit will also cause some problems to CHA’s defense. I remember that CHA’s defense is predicated to protect the rim but the Hawks have good shooters from 1-to-5 positions.

I expect this contest to be a pure 50/50 game and therefore, we have some value w/ ATL in here getting 3 points.
